ANTI-HARASSMENT POLICY

CJEC is committed to creating a safe, respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, media guests, volunteers, and team members.

We have a zero-tolerance policy toward harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or any inappropriate behavior at CJEC events. Any violation of this policy may result in immediate action, including removal from the event without refund, restriction from future CJEC events, or further action where necessary.

DEFINITION OF HARASSMENT

Harassment includes any unwanted, offensive, threatening, discriminatory, or disruptive behavior that negatively affects another person’s safety, dignity, comfort, or ability to participate in the event.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Verbal abuse, insults, offensive jokes, or derogatory comments based on race, nationality, gender, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, appearance, business background, or any other personal status.

Threats, intimidation, aggressive behavior, or physical violence.

Unwanted physical contact, inappropriate touching, or unwelcome sexual attention.

Stalking, following, repeated unwanted communication, or invasion of personal space.

Displaying, sharing, or distributing offensive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate materials.

Disruptive behavior during speeches, panels, networking sessions, exhibitions, workshops, livestreams, or other CJEC activities.

Harassment through digital channels related to the event, including social media, messaging apps, event groups, emails, or online communities.

EXPECTATIONS OF ATTENDEE BEHAVIOR

All CJEC participants are expected to behave professionally and respectfully throughout the event.

By attending CJEC, you agree to:

Treat all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, guests, and staff with respect.

Respect personal boundaries, cultural differences, and professional communication standards.

Follow the instructions of CJEC staff, venue security, and event organizers.

Avoid behavior that may make others feel unsafe, unwelcome, embarrassed, or uncomfortable.

Use event networking opportunities in a respectful and business-appropriate manner.

Help maintain a positive environment where entrepreneurs, brands, suppliers, creators, and e-commerce professionals can connect, learn, and grow together.

Any behavior that violates this policy will not be tolerated.

REPORTING PROCEDURE

If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, unsafe behavior, or any inappropriate conduct during CJEC, please report it to the CJEC team as soon as possible.

You may report an incident by:

Approaching any CJEC staff member or event organizer on-site.

When reporting an incident, please provide as much information as possible, such as the name or description of the person involved, the time and location of the incident, what happened, and whether there were any witnesses.

All reports will be taken seriously and reviewed as quickly as possible.

CONFIDENTIALITY

CJEC will handle all reports with care and respect for privacy.

Information related to a report will be kept confidential to the extent reasonably possible. However, in order to properly review and resolve an incident, CJEC may need to share limited information with event organizers, venue security, legal advisors, or relevant authorities when necessary.

CJEC will not tolerate retaliation against anyone who makes a report in good faith or helps with an investigation.

CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS

If a participant violates this policy, CJEC may take appropriate action depending on the nature and seriousness of the behavior.

Possible actions may include:

A verbal warning.

Removal from a session, networking area, exhibition area, or event venue.

Cancellation of event access without refund.

Restriction from future CJEC events.

Removal from official CJEC communities, groups, or online event channels.

Reporting to venue security or local authorities if necessary.

CJEC reserves the right to make final decisions on event access and participant removal in order to protect the safety and experience of all attendees.

SCOPE OF THIS POLICY

This policy applies to all CJEC-related spaces and activities, including but not limited to:

Main conference sessions.

Networking events.

Exhibition areas.

Workshops and private meetings.

VIP activities.

After-event gatherings organized by CJEC.

Official CJEC online communities, livestreams, chats, and social media interactions.

This policy applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors, partners, media representatives, volunteers, staff members, and any other participants involved in CJEC.

By attending CJEC, all participants agree to follow this Anti-Harassment Policy and help maintain a professional, safe, and welcoming environment.
